2. Information We Collect

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when:
- Filling out contact or demo request forms
- Sending us an email or booking a meeting with our team

This may include your name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, company size, topics of interest, implementation timelines, how you heard about us, and any project details you include in your message.
Automatically Collected Information
When you visit our website, we may automatically collect certain information about your device, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, and browsing behaviour through cookies and similar technologies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries, provide customer support, and schedule demos
- Send you relevant information about our products and services when requested
- Improve our website, offerings, and security posture
- Comply with legal obligations
Contact and demo requests are transmitted to our internal team via our secure email provider and handled by the relevant engagement managers only.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process your personal data based on:
- Consent: When you have given us explicit consent
- Contract: When processing is necessary for a contract with you
- Legitimate Interest: When we have a legitimate business interest
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Contact and demo form submissions are stored in our secure email systems for up to 3 years unless you request earlier deletion. Cookie preferences are stored in your browser for 12 months unless you clear them sooner.
6. Your Rights
Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing of your data
- Request data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise these rights, please contact us at hello@deltacoders.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Portugal this is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), www.cnpd.pt, Av. D. Carlos I, 134, 1.º, 1200-651 Lisboa. If you live or work in another EU member state, you may complain to the supervisory authority there instead.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing activity. Necessary cookies keep the site functioning, analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) help us understand site usage, and functional cookies remember your preferences. When you first visit the site you can choose which categories to accept or reject, and you can reopen those controls at any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.
Your consent choices are stored in a cookie named dc_cookie_consent for 12 months so we can honor your selection. You may delete this cookie or adjust your browser settings to manage cookies at any time.
8. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services such as:
- Google Analytics 4, loaded only after you accept analytics cookies, to understand website usage
- Cloudflare Turnstile to keep automated submissions out of our forms
- OpenStreetMap embeds to display our office location
- SMTP2GO, our email relay, to deliver contact and demo requests to our team
These services have their own privacy policies governing the use of your information. Where required, they operate under appropriate data processing agreements and only receive the data needed to provide their services.
9. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
10. International Transfers
Some of the services this site relies on are operated from outside the European Economic Area, and each transfer rests on a mechanism recognised by the GDPR:
- Google (Google Analytics 4, the Google tag script, and the Google Workspace mailbox that receives contact and demo requests). The tag script is loaded from Google servers only after you accept analytics cookies; until then no request from this site's pages reaches Google. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognised as adequate on 10 July 2023, and Google's data processing terms apply the Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses to anything the Framework does not cover.
- Cloudflare (the Turnstile anti-spam check on our forms), which receives your IP address and browser signals when a form is shown. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its data processing addendum incorporates the Standard Contractual Clauses.
- SMTP2GO (the relay that delivers form submissions to our mailbox), used through its European Union endpoint. SMTP2GO is established in New Zealand, which the European Commission recognises as providing adequate protection (Decision 2013/65/EU).
- OpenStreetMap Foundation (the map on our About page), established in the United Kingdom, which the European Commission recognises as adequate (Decision (EU) 2021/1772).
No other international transfer takes place.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
